Cofex Community Guidelines

Cofex aims to create a welcoming community where people can connect through language exchange and cultural conversations.
To ensure that everyone has a safe and enjoyable experience, all users are expected to follow these Community Guidelines.
1. Respect Others
All users should treat each other with respect.
The following behavior is not allowed:
- Harassment or bullying
- Threats or intimidation
- Discrimination or hate speech
- Aggressive or abusive language
- Persistent unwanted contact
If another user asks you to stop contacting them, you must respect their request.
2. Prohibited Content
The following types of content are not allowed on Cofex:
- Sexual or explicit content
- Violent or threatening content
- Hate speech
- Illegal activities
- Scams or financial solicitation
- Spam or promotional content
Content that violates these guidelines may be removed.
3. Authentic Profiles
Users must provide accurate and truthful information in their profiles.
The following are prohibited:
- Impersonating another person
- Creating fake accounts
- Using photos that do not belong to you
Authentic profiles help build trust within the community.
4. Safe Interactions
Cofex allows users to connect and potentially meet in person for language exchange.
Users are encouraged to:
- Meet in public places such as cafes
- Avoid sharing sensitive personal information
- Trust their instincts if something feels uncomfortable
Your safety should always come first.
5. Reporting Misconduct
If you experience or witness inappropriate behavior, please use the reporting feature in the app.
Cofex may take actions including:
- Issuing warnings
- Removing content
- Suspending accounts
- Permanently banning users
6. Violations
Users who violate these guidelines may have their accounts restricted, suspended, or removed from the platform.
